We're a small concession stand (Not affiliated with the Nebraska Game & Parks) found in the middle of a Nebraska State Park just West and South of the RR tracks outside of Fremont Nebraska.

WHY WE CLOSED @ SUNSET?

When the sun sets out here at the Fremont Nebraska State Lakes patrons simply tend to clear out of the area, go home, or huddle up around their campsites, so there is no use for us in even trying to stay open after dark.
If you need goods and services from our store it would be a good idea to stock up on wood and ice or get a snack before the sun sets.
Who needs a time piece anyway? Relaxe and watch the sunset.
Besides, it's a way to say we're doing our part to be "green" and cut costs by saving electricity.
If we are kept busy, we will stay open after sunset.
